Autumn & Winter Eyewear Trends 2025/2026
November 5, 2026 | FashionThere’s something lovely about the arrival of autumn after the sunny days of summer. The light becomes softer, the colours change, and you’re sort of done with all the summer fuss.
We can see that fashion, too, is drawing inspiration from soft, flowing shapes in clothing, such as oversized and loose silhouettes. This creates a modern and relaxed feel – but can be styled to look more sophisticated. The colours lean towards burgundy and brown tones.
Animal-print accessories, ideally paired with full-frame glasses in brown-yellow lenses that make the world a more delightful place.

Brown tones
Everywhere we look, we see these soft brown tones in everything from frames to the colour of the lenses. The hottest trend right now is solid brown-yellow lenses, ideally in a square aviator frame like our lovely Bina (Tom Ford FT1153).

Oval shapes
Alongside the slightly more generous silhouettes in fashion, we’re seeing these cool oval shapes that more and more people are daring to try. The finest examples of this trend can be found at Saint Laurent.

Angular
Round shapes dominated for a long time, but now we’re seeing more and more people drawn to angular designs with a bit more character. The lads here are by far the biggest fans of the Milano range from Nirvan Javan when it comes to this trend.

Chunky unisex
Girls are increasingly taking a leaf out of the lads’ style book and are quick to borrow bits and pieces. The lads, for their part, are starting to be a bit more daring, and we’re seeing tinted lenses with a pinkish tinge more often in these slightly bolder frames, like the ones our David (below) is wearing in the photo:

Tips for choosing spectacle frames:
A rounder face shape benefits from slightly sharper lines, whilst angular faces benefit from softer shapes.
If you want your frames to go with lots of different styles or colours of clothing, choose a neutral frame colour such as black, brown or clear.
Glasses that fit well are always the most comfortable. Heavier frames look great, of course, but they weigh more and, after a full day, may feel less comfortable than if you choose a slightly thinner frame or one made of metal or titanium. The tip is to build up a collection of glasses so that you can mix things up.
You’re the one who’ll be wearing your glasses and seeing yourself in the mirror every day. Trends are all well and good, but find something that really suits your style and reflects your personality.
