Moscot glasses – masters of classic frames

Moscot glasses are favourites with many people, and there are several reasons for this. They are beautifully crafted, handmade and of high quality. The collection features many timeless classics such as Lemtosh, Miltzen and Zolman. In addition, over the years the range has been expanded to include new, trendy models such as Dahven, Bjorn and Rizik.

Many of the classics are available in several sizes, so you can find a model in a size that suits you perfectly. This ensures they fit comfortably and look great. Tinted or photochromic lenses usually look great in these frames; we’d be happy to help you find a stylish colour. Moscot Clip-ons are also available if you prefer clear lenses but want to avoid being dazzled on sunny days.

Moscot is a brand very close to our hearts. When Hultins Optik celebrated its 80th anniversary, they joined in the celebrations by producing a very limited-edition anniversary collection for Hultins Optik. Four models and ten pairs of each frame, “One family business to another”.

Our journey with Moscot began many years ago at a trade fair in Milan. Today, we have a huge stock of both sunglasses and prescription glasses. In other words, if you’re looking for Moscot glasses and sunglasses, this is the place to look.

Moscot’s own journey began much earlier than that. In 1899, the founder, Hyman Moscot, arrived as an immigrant at Ellis Island. Hyman began selling spectacles from a small cart – which can still be seen in the brand’s logo today – and the company was founded in 1915. It is still family-owned, now in its fifth generation. The head office remains on New York’s Lower East Side. For anyone passing through the Big Apple, we naturally recommend a visit.

They have launched several legendary models, including the Lemtosh and the Miltzen. The brand has been worn by a host of superstars such as Johnny Depp, Tom Hanks, Daniel Craig, Andy Warhol, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and many more.
