Behind every brand available at Hultins Optik lies many hours of work. We regularly travel to trade fairs and showrooms around the world to discover new collections, find the favourites of the future and ensure that our range continues to evolve.
We are often approached by brands keen to be stocked by us, but securing a place on our shelves is by no means a given. Weâre selective and only choose products we believe in ourselves. Internally, we usually say: âIf we love it, weâll stock it.â That phrase sums up our buying philosophy better than anything else.

Choosing glasses and sunglasses should be fun, not overwhelming. Thatâs why we spend a great deal of time assessing quality, design, fit and craftsmanship before a frame is included in our range.
Weâre looking for brands that do something really well. This could be innovative design, exceptional craftsmanship, timeless elegance or an ability to stay at the forefront of trends. Whatever the case, the product should feel relevant, well thought-out and worth recommending.
Independent and free to make their own choices
As an independent optician, we are not bound by any centralised purchasing arrangements or chain-wide decisions. This gives us the freedom to decide for ourselves which brands and collections deserve a place in our shop.
Nor are we afraid to change our product range when necessary. Sometimes a brand changes, adopts a new design direction or develops in a way that no longer feels right for Hultins Optik. In such cases, we may choose to put the partnership on hold or bring it to an end. For us, it is more important to stand behind what we sell than to stick to old decisions.
