In-house production of spectacles

We have been making glasses in our workshop since 1939. We are proud to be one of the few opticians with a fully equipped workshop, and we make all our glasses here. We want to be able to vouch for everything we produce, and the lenses and frames are carefully adjusted to suit each individual. This also means we can be a little quicker than many others and more environmentally friendly, as your glasses aren’t sent elsewhere to be ground.

Although technology has advanced and lenses are now ground using a computer, a great deal is still done by hand. We have a fully equipped workshop and can offer bespoke solutions and repairs. You can even get your glasses on the same day if you’re in a real hurry.
