The fashion house Yves Saint Laurent (YSL), now Saint Laurent, was founded in 1961 by the Algerian-born French designer of the same name. During the 1960s and 70s the brand became known for the beatnik look, safari jackets for both women and men, and slim-fitting trousers. The house is also associated with simple classic pieces such as the trouser suit, the pea coat, the A-line dress and the tuxedo.

In 1999 Gucci bought the company, and it is now owned by Kering, together with Gucci among others.

The Saint Laurent glasses collection is a very large one, and you will find both women’s glasses and men’s glasses. The frames are often very clean-lined, and colours such as black, havana and tortoise appear again and again.
