Glasses – a craft
Glasses are something we really know and are passionate about. Since 1939, Stockholmers, not least the people of Södermalm, have visited Hultins Optik for quality glasses and solid craftsmanship. When we took over in 2006, that was something we set out to preserve.
Our range of glasses
Every brand, collection and frame is hand-picked to offer a range that few can match.

Our range includes frames from the big fashion houses such as Celine, Loewe, Saint Laurent, Gucci and Tom Ford.

You will also find classics from, for example, Moscot, Savile Row and Oliver Peoples. Beautifully designed frames from Mykita, Cutler and Gross, Nirvan Javan, Götti and Anne Et Valentin. Luxurious handmade frames in fine materials from, for example, Ahlem and John Dalia.

Scandinavian brands such as Oscar Magnuson, Metro, Yng and Vasuma add spice to an already wonderful mix of brands.
Glasses shapes
We know it can be difficult to choose a frame, and there are many colours and shapes to choose from. In our filter you can sort by brand, gender, shape and colour.

In the optical industry most collections are divided into women’s and unisex. There are colours in abundance, and we have tried to divide the shapes as well as we can. You will find some frames under several options in the filter. That happened where it was not entirely obvious, and we would rather include than exclude. We hope that is okay with you.

We are sure you will be able to filter your way to a timeless classic, a pair of round frames or a pair of large bold frames.

Lenses
We work exclusively with lenses from premium brands, for the simple reason that we want you to be happy with your product. With our own workshop we can tailor your glasses. You can choose coloured lenses and tinted lenses if you wish.

Online we sell single vision lenses; in store we also sell progressive glasses, near-progressive glasses, office progressive glasses and prism glasses. These are lenses that require measurements in person to turn out well, and we do not want to hand over anything that is not good. That is why we do not sell them online.

If you are interested in glasses trends, we recommend our blog, which we try to keep updated with the latest trends. There you will find posts from our visits and purchases at trade fairs around the world. All to find the best frames.

Some of you may also have seen our optician Åsa on TV4’s Nyhetsmorgon, where she has talked about glasses trends among other things. On the blog we can give examples of frames and talk a little more about specific brands that, for example, do a trend particularly well. Well worth a look.

Optician in Stockholm
We have many opticians with us in Stockholm and are happy to help you with an eye examination. We also take on more difficult cases and have equipment that few opticians can boast of. An OCT scanner, a tonometer and a fundus camera, where we can use AI to help assess retinal images, are some of them. We also work closely with several ophthalmologists where relevant, for example in cases of cataract or glaucoma. Online you can attach a current glasses prescription when ordering, and we will make sure your glasses are made in your prescription.
