Clip-ons – when your favourite glasses become sunglasses

With a clip-on, you can easily turn your ordinary glasses into sunglasses in a matter of seconds. You don’t have to switch between different pairs, and you don’t need to buy separate prescription sunglasses. It’s a really smart solution for anyone who wears glasses every day and wants to be able to adapt them to the weather.

A clip-on consists of tinted lenses that attach to the outside of your regular glasses. When the sun comes out, you simply clip them on, and when you go back indoors, you can easily take them off. Convenient and practical, but also really stylish when the accessory complements the design of the frames.

Clip-ons from Moscot, Oliver Peoples and other brands

Moscot and Oliver Peoples are two brands that really excel at clip-ons. Both have plenty of timeless eyewear classics in their collections, with shapes that go very well with a stylish clip-on. It’s a simple way to get even more use out of your favourite glasses whilst giving them a slightly different look.

It also works slightly differently depending on which frame you choose. Sometimes a matching clip-on is included when you buy the glasses, whilst in other cases it’s an accessory you buy separately. Some models can also be fitted with clip-ons at a later date.
