The opticians at Öfvre are becoming Hultins Optik Östermalm

Since 2006, the shop at Karlavägen 73 has been an integral part of the neighbourhood around Östermalmstorg, operating under the name Optikerna på Öfvre. It is a shop characterised by a strong personal commitment, solid expertise and a warm relationship with its customers.

But for those of you who are also familiar with Hultins Optik in Södermalm, it may come as no surprise that we have long been part of the same family.

That’s why it feels especially nice to be able to share this news now:

The opticians at Öfvre are changing their name to Hultins Optik Östermalm.

A name change that brings us even closer together

Since 2019, we have been running the shops in Östermalm and Södermalm together. We have held the same Christmas parties and summer parties, and attended buying fairs together. But above all, we have shared the same view of what it means to be a good optician. Care. Time. Expertise. A personalised service.

When we opened the doors to our new, light-filled premises at 24 Renstiernas Street at the start of the year, it became clear that it was time to give the Östermalm shop the same name too. Not just because we are now united under a single digital platform, but because we are, in fact, operating as one and the same company.

It is therefore a natural step that we are now called Hultins Optik Östermalm. A name change that reflects what we already are: an optician with two shops, but with the same spirit.

Two shops – the same range, different shades

One of our great strengths is the wide range of brands we stock in both shops. In fact, we stock over 20 brands across our Östermalm and Södermalm shops, including Moscot, Celine, Saint Laurent, Cutler and Gross, Dior, Ahlem and many more. Whichever shop you walk into, you’ll find frames to suit your taste.

But just as our neighbourhoods differ in character, so too do our shops’ ranges – in subtle ways. At Hultins Optik Östermalm, there is a distinct air of classic luxury, with exclusive brands such as Cartier, Chanel and TVR. These are frames steeped in history, craftsmanship and an elegant, effortless style.

At Hultins Optik Södermalm, you’ll find more of these trend-setting brands – such as Loewe, Mykita and Nirvan Javan. Frames with a modern and creative design for those who want to be a bit more daring.

For you as a customer, nothing changes – and everything

If you’re already a customer at Östermalm, you’ll feel right at home. You’ll find us at the same address, be greeted by the same staff, and receive exactly the same dedicated service as before. The only things that have changed are the name on the door and the fact that we’re now even easier to find online.

For those of you who may first have come to know us through our Södermalm branch, this means you now have two Hultins branches to choose from. The same thorough eye tests. The same eye for frames. The same generous amount of time devoted to each customer.
