Optician in Östermalm
At Hultins Optik Östermalm, you’ll be welcomed by experienced opticians who take the time to really listen. We believe in a personal approach, in seeing the whole person behind the eyes, and in ensuring that your glasses not only give you good vision but also feel just right for you.
Several members of our team have extensive experience of working in both small independent opticians and larger chains, but have chosen to work with us precisely because we do things differently. Here, every eye test is given as much time as it needs, and we always tailor our recommendations to your lifestyle and needs, rather than resorting to quick, standardised solutions.
Using advanced equipment such as an OCT scanner, we can detect changes in the eyes at an early stage. This gives you both peace of mind and precision in your eye care. At the same time, we have a genuine eye for style – whether you’re looking for new frames, tinted lenses or simply want to try something you didn’t realise you could pull off.
Our team in Östermalm shares the same philosophy as our colleagues in Södermalm: that stepping through our door should feel warm, professional and inspiring. Many of our customers appreciate being able to switch between the shops and be met with the same atmosphere, thoughtfulness and quality.
Welcome to our premises at Karlavägen 73 – we look forward to helping you!
Peter
Qualified optician and partner
Some people like everything to be off-the-shelf. Peter isn’t one of them. With a keen interest in bespoke solutions and an eye for detail, he helps customers every day to find glasses that feel just as right as they look.
At the same time, he is a family man, a sports enthusiast and someone who loves to throw himself into new projects. But what really drives him, and how did he end up in the optical industry in the first place? He tells us more about that here.
Lee
Qualified optician
If you ask Lee what makes for a really good day, the answer rarely involves sitting still. She’s at her best when things are happening, whether it’s at work, on the dance floor or somewhere on the other side of the world.
As an optician, she enjoys meeting people and the feeling of being able to make a difference to someone’s everyday life. But behind her professional role lies an adventurer with a long list of places to discover and experiences to gather. Here, Lee tells us more about who she is when she’s not in the shop.
Petra
Qualified optician
Petra is someone who likes to take her time. Whether it’s helping a customer find the right glasses, working in the workshop or trying out a new recipe in the kitchen, there’s a joy in the process itself. She appreciates the craftsmanship behind her profession and enjoys the little details that can make a big difference.
But who exactly is this optician who can’t stand cold water, loves spending time with her family and would choose to live the life of an otter if she had the chance? Here’s your chance to get to know Petra a bit better.
Elsi
Qualified optician and partner
After nearly three decades in the opticians’ trade, Elsi has gained a wealth of experience and knowledge, as well as a strong entrepreneurial spirit. Together with Åsa, she took over Hultins Optik in 2006 and has since helped to develop the business with the same energy and curiosity as when she first started.
Elsi is known for her positive attitude, her ability to see opportunities where others see problems, and her strong commitment to both customers and colleagues. But who is the person behind the optician who loves Mondays, large frames and never seems to stand still? Here, you can get to know Elsi a little better.
Åsa
