Clear lenses

Clear lenses are the most common type and are exactly what they sound like: clear lenses. It’s worth thinking about how you use your glasses. If you mainly use them as reading glasses, a simpler surface treatment may be all you need. If, on the other hand, you lead a constantly connected life with many hours spent looking at screens, lenses adapted to our digital lives might be preferable. Either way, clear lenses are for those who do not want any tint or colour in their lenses.

What distinguishes an expensive lens from a cheaper one?

  • The resolution of the lens, with better optics for sharper and more natural vision
  • Features (e.g. colour-changing or designed for a connected lifestyle)
  • Surface treatments that make your lenses more scratch-resistant and repel dirt, water and dust, as well as eliminating annoying reflections.
  • UV protection for your long-term eye health
  • Thinner, lighter and more stylish lenses that not only help you see well, but also make you look good
