Ray-Ban is probably the best-known and most iconic brand in the world when it comes to sunglasses. The brand was founded back in 1937 in Rochester, USA, and grew out of a collaboration between the US Air Force and the medical equipment company Bausch & Lomb.
The collection features classic models such as the Aviator, Clubmaster, Wayfarer and Olympian. Ray-Ban now also offers a wide range of prescription frames. In 1999, Ray-Ban was acquired by the world’s largest manufacturer of spectacle frames, the Italian company Luxottica.
