Gradal
Gradient lenses have a darker shade at the top and gradually get lighter towards the bottom. These lenses have become very popular recently; they add a touch of attitude to the frame whilst offering a relaxing look. In our online shop, we’ve selected the most popular options, but if you’d like, we can customise lenses in a wide range of colours and tints. Just get in touch and we’ll sort it out.
- If your prescription is between -3.0 and +3.0, choose an index of 1.5 or 1.6.
- If your prescription is above -3.0 or +3.0, choose an index of 1.6 or 1.67.
The higher the prescription, the greater the difference in lens thickness.
What distinguishes an expensive pair of glasses from a cheaper one?
- The resolution of the lens, with better optics for sharper and more natural vision.
- Features (e.g. colour-changing or designed for a connected lifestyle).
- Surface treatments that make your lenses more scratch-resistant and repel dirt, water and dust, as well as eliminating annoying reflections.
- UV protection for your long-term eye health.
- Thinner, lighter and more stylish lenses that ensure you not only see well, but look good too.
