About the Brand
Moscot â Masters of classic eyewear
Moscot is a brand that is very close to our hearts. When Hultins Optik celebrated its 80th anniversary, they joined in the celebrations by producing a very limited-edition anniversary collection for Hultins Optik. Four models and ten pairs of each frame, âFrom one family business to anotherâ.
Our journey with Moscot began many years ago at a trade fair in Milan. Today, we always have a huge stock of both sunglasses and prescription glasses. In other words, if youâre looking for Moscot glasses and sunglasses, this is the place to look.
Moscotâs own journey began much earlier than that. In 1899, the founder, Hyman Moscot, arrived as an immigrant at Ellis Island. Hyman began selling spectacles from a small cart â which can still be seen in the brandâs logo today â and the company was founded in 1915. It is still family-owned, now in its fifth generation. The head office remains on New Yorkâs Lower East Side. For anyone passing through the Big Apple, we naturally recommend a visit.
They have launched several legendary models, including the Lemtosh and the Miltzen. The brand has been worn by a host of superstars such as Johnny Depp, Tom Hanks, Daniel Craig, Andy Warhol, Lady Gaga, Selena Gomez and many more.
Moscot glasses
Moscot glasses are favourites for many, and there are several reasons why. They are beautifully crafted, handmade and of high quality. The collection features many timeless classics such as Lemtosh, Miltzen and Zolman. In addition, over the years the range has been expanded to include newer models such as Dahven, Bjorn and Zissel.
Many of the classics are available in several sizes, meaning you can find a model in a size that suits you perfectly. This ensures they fit comfortably and look great. Tinted or photochromic lenses usually look great in these frames; weâd be happy to help you find a stylish colour. Moscot Clip-ons are also available if you prefer clear lenses but want to avoid being dazzled on sunny days.

Moscot sunglasses are available in a huge range of styles, and for the classics â such as the Lemtosh Sun and Miltzen Sun â there are several sizes to choose from. There are also many newer styles that weâre happy to recommend when it comes to sunglasses. Be sure to check out, for example, the Dahven Sun, Sheister Sun (pictured below) and Zissel Sun.

Moscotâs 2026 collection is one of the most interesting updates in a long time. Here we see new models that feel just right straight away, as well as updated versions of classic frames that now offer an even better fit and feel.
What stands out in this yearâs collection is how effortless everything feels. Nothing is over-engineered, yet everything is well thought out. Designs that already work have been tweaked in just the right places, meaning many of the new styles fit better and feel more natural to wear right from the start.

Moscot in Stockholm
We have two shops in Stockholm, one in Södermalm (Renstiernas gata 24) and one in Ăstermalm (KarlavĂ€gen 73), both of which always stock a wide range of Moscot. We always have opticians on hand who can help you find what will work best for you and your vision. Do you need help adjusting your glasses so they fit perfectly? No problem â weâre very used to this and do it every day; we also have our own workshop and can even replace the lenses in your existing frames.
Has it been a while since you had an eye test?
If so, it might be a good idea to start there to ensure the prescriptions for your new glasses are correct. With us, youâll always be seen by a qualified optician with extensive experience and expertise.

Accidental damage insurance
Warranty, right to make a complaint and damage insurance
When you buy glasses from Hultins Optik, you should feel secure. That is why you are, of course, covered by the rights provided under Swedish law, whilst we also offer extra peace of mind through our damage insurance.
Under the Consumer Sales Act, you have a three-year right to make a complaint regarding original defects. Should a manufacturing fault or a defect giving rise to a complaint arise, we will, of course, help you find a solution. In addition to this, the warranties offered by the respective manufacturers also apply (for example, Cartier and many others offer a 24-month warranty, followed, of course, by the right to make a complaint).
To give you even better protection, we offer one yearâs damage insurance when you purchase a complete pair of glasses at the standard price. The insurance covers issues not normally covered by the manufacturerâs warranty or your right to make a complaint, such as in the event of an accident.
Damage insurance

- Covers accidental damage, such as if the glasses are dropped on the ground or if you sit on them
- No depreciation
- Excess of just 250 kr
- If your glasses are damaged, youâll receive help from your optician, who knows your eyes and your vision
- Option to easily extend the cover
- This insurance complements the consumer protection available in Sweden. The insurer is Solid FörsÀkring.

Terms and Conditions of Purchase
Ordering
When you place an order with Hultins Optik, you are agreeing to our terms and conditions of purchase and delivery, as well as our privacy policy. You must be aged 18 or over to shop with us and must be resident in Sweden.
Once your order has been placed, you will receive an order confirmation at the email address you have provided. If, for any reason, you have not received a confirmation within 48 hours, please contact us.
Can I cancel my order?
If you wish to cancel an order immediately after making a purchase, please contact us at weborder@hultinsoptik.se so that we can stop the delivery in time. If the delivery has already been dispatched, the same rules apply as for the right of withdrawal.
Payment options
In partnership with Kustom Checkout, we offer several different payment options. These include Klarna invoice payment, instalment payments, credit card payments (Visa, Mastercard, Amex) and direct payments (Apple Pay, Google Pay, Swish).
By providing your details at checkout, you agree to Kustomâs and Klarnaâs terms and conditions. By clicking âComplete purchaseâ, you agree to Hultins Optikâs terms and conditions of sale and privacy policy.
In our high-street shop, we do not accept cash but do accept payment via Swish, instalments and card payments (Visa, Mastercard & Amex).
Delivery
For orders over 1,000 SEK, Hultins Optik covers the cost of postage or home delivery; otherwise, a delivery charge will apply. We also offer free returns should you be dissatisfied with your item; please contact us regarding the returns procedure.
Depending on where you live, you have a range of delivery options to choose from; these are clearly shown at checkout. We always offer free home delivery (for purchases over 1,000 SEK) where the courier can deliver the parcel directly to your address. Otherwise, the chosen courier will deliver to a collection point near you. We deliver within 3â18 days. Naturally, we want you, as a customer, to receive your order quickly and we always do our best to ensure this. Normally, the product is delivered within 3 days, but, for example, bespoke glasses with tinted lenses take a little longer.
In the event of abnormal use of free delivery and returns of goods, Hultins Optik reserves the right to refuse further purchases from the customer.

What happens if I donât collect my parcel?
For parcels that are not collected, a fee of 200: â will be charged to cover the costs you have incurred for us. This covers dispatch, packing, packaging, delivery, return delivery, returns processing and restocking.

If your parcel has been damaged in transit, please take a photo of the parcel and contact us immediately at: weborder@hultinsoptik.se
What happens if my item is out of stock?
We have a very large warehouse and try to keep our online shop up to date, but if, contrary to expectations, the item you have ordered is out of stock, we will contact you immediately to find a solution. In that case, we will inform you of the estimated delivery time and any alternatives in terms of colours or frames. If you are not satisfied with any of the alternatives, we will, of course, refund your purchase.
Delivery delays
Should your item be delayed, we will contact you to inform you of the estimated delivery time and any alternatives. If the delivery date was of significant importance to you, you may be entitled to cancel the purchase.
How long do the right to return and the right to exchange apply for?
As a consumer, you always have a 14-day right of withdrawal when shopping online; read more under the section âRight of withdrawalâ below.
Right of withdrawal
You have the right to cancel your purchase without giving any reason within 14 days of receiving the product. This means you can return the product if you are not satisfied with it, for example, if you do not like the fit or the colour. The product must be returned in accordance with applicable consumer legislation.
The product must be returned in its original condition and any seals must remain intact. In the event of damage or wear and tear, Hultins Optik reserves the right to deduct up to 100% of the value.
The right of withdrawal does not apply to the following types of products:

If you cancel your purchase, Kustom will refund the payment we received from you. The refund will be processed without undue delay. However, we may have to wait to process the refund until we have received the product back from you. Kustom will use the same payment method for the refund as you used when placing your order. The product must be received by us within 14 days of you notifying us of your wish to return it.
Returns
For returns, we require the following information from you:

For a return to be approved, the returns form must be completed and enclosed with the parcel; the product must be in its original condition and any seals must be intact and still attached to the product. We will then cover the return postage costs, once you have contacted us.

As the customer, you are responsible for the parcel when returning it to us. You are liable for the cost of any parcels that go missing whilst in transit from you.
Complaints
If we have delivered a product that has been dispatched in error or is faulty, please contact us as soon as possible so that we can help you resolve the issue. Send an email to weborder@hultinsoptik.se and describe the fault.
If we are unable to resolve the issue, you may, of course, make a complaint about the product to receive a replacement. Complaints must be made in accordance with the instructions you receive from us and as set out below. The right to make a complaint covers products that are faulty in accordance with current consumer protection legislation. If you wish to make a complaint regarding a fault in a product you have ordered, you must contact Hultins Optik as soon as possible after the fault has been discovered, using the contact details provided below under âOtherâ. Complaints made within two months of the defect being discovered are always deemed to have been submitted in good time.
Hultins Optik will cover the return postage for approved complaints.
Once the product subject to the complaint has been returned and the complaint approved, Hultins Optik will compensate you in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation. Hultins Optik aims to complete this process within 30 days of receiving the complaint. However, it may take longer depending on the nature of the product. Hultins Optik reserves the right to reject a complaint if it transpires that the product is not faulty in accordance with applicable consumer protection legislation.
When handling complaints, Hultins Optik follows the guidelines of the Swedish National Board for Consumer Complaints. As a consumer, you have a three-year right to make a complaint. You can also find further information at the Swedish Consumer Agency.

Moscot Lemtosh
Moscot Lemtosh glasses â a giant amongst giants. When talking about timeless glasses, you simply have to mention this classic, which has even been the subject of its own blog post that you can read here. This frame is one of our best-sellers, and there are many reasons why. First and foremost, itâs a superbly designed frame of very high quality, handmade from Italian acetate. Itâs also available in an incredible range of lovely colours and in four different sizes, meaning most people can find a size that suits them.
It has its roots in the 1950s and is now one of Moscotâs most iconic models. The shape is round yet distinct, and it is precisely this balance that makes it suit so many people. It works just as well with a relaxed, everyday look as it does with something a bit more smart. If you want it to look a bit cooler, go for lightly tinted lenses. If you want it to feel more smart, choose a classic colour.
These frames have been worn by a large number of international celebrities, including Johnny Depp, as well as many Swedish ones. If youâve been following *DraknĂ€stet*, youâve no doubt seen Jacob De Geer in his stylish frames. The other day I accidentally dropped my favourite sunglasses on the tarmac because of a broken case they slipped out of. Not only are they expensive designer sunglasses, I bought them abroad on a special occasion and they mean a lot to me.
In tears, I called around to different opticians here in Södermalm hoping someone could polish the scratched frames. The fantastic staff at Hultins fixed the damage in about 15 minutes! A perfect selection of carefully chosen brands such as Oliver Peoples and Moscot. Always good to have staff who are cheerful and service-minded. The optician who did my eye test was extremely thorough and even double-checked the values because she didn’t think they were right â and she was correct, since the machine had produced the wrong values. That saved me from getting incorrectly made glasses and all the hassle that would have meant.
